Rob Crocker is a naturally talented racing driver with a passion for the history of motorsports. His career on the race track began in 2017, but he quickly climbed through the ranks of club racing. In his rookie year of racing a 1997 Porsche Spec Boxster with the Porsche Owners' Club, Rob scored 8 race wins and 5 podiums in a total of 16 races.
In his rookie debut at the professional level, Rob consistently found himself in the top 10 against many other highly-experienced and established racing drivers. Rob also garnered three consecutive Optima Batteries Best Starter awards in the process for charging through the field during the opening lap of each race. In total, he would pass 21 cars in three separate races during the 2019 TC America championship season.
Rob continued his journey in professional motorsports for the 2021 season. Racing a Porsche Cayman GT4, Rob's first two races with the Trans-Am Championship saw two consecutive class wins in the Super GT class, the first win coming at Sonoma Raceway followed by another at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
During the week, Rob works a job at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Beverly Hills. He was featured on the museum's YouTube page, giving a virtual tour of the Petersen Vault's unparalleled automobile collection. He was also featured on Winding Road Racing's YouTube channel in 2019 for his stunning drive during the SCCA Hoosier Super Tour Polar Prix race at Circuit of the Americas.
Rob grew up in Newbury Park, California, situated just northwest of Los Angeles. With childhood dreams of becoming a race car driver, his passion for automobiles and competitive drive meant that his desire to try road racing came as no surprise for anyone who knew him. However, his career ambitions don't just end on the race track. Rob ultimately plans to use his successes as a racing driver to help grow the racing scene in his native Los Angeles area in order to encourage people against racing on public streets.
